College Discount Day at Montage Mountain Resorts

Spring Hike at Kettle Creek Environmental Center in Stroudsburg!
Saturday, March 23rd - $6
10am-11:30am
A two-hour hike along the trails. Check out the natural happenings that Spring brings to the Poconos forests.

Woodcock Walks at the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans Ferry
Saturday, March 23rd - Ages 10+
6:30pm-8:00pm
Bring a flashlight! Join a walk to see the woodcock & its unique mating display.

History of Ice Harvesting at Nescopeck State Park
Sunday, March 24th
Registration is required. Learn all about the history of ice harvesting with a guest speaker! Before electricity and refrigerators, the only way people were able to keep things cold and to prevent food from spoiling was by utilizing an icebox. Learn the process of harvesting the ice for the ice box and see some of the tools that were used at that time!

Salamanders, Frogs, & More at Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans Ferry
Sunday, March 24th - $5
1:00pm-3:00pm
Spring is here and amphibians are beginning to stir! Explore breeding pools for salamanders, frogs, and egg masses. Nets & jars will be provided for gentle, up close study. Dress accordingly! Wear boots and clothing that can get muddy or wet.
