Enjoy a scenic afternoon canoe paddle on Lake Lacawac. Boats, paddles and life jackets are all provided. Personal lifejackets may be used. All ages welcome. Reservations required, as spaces are limited.

SUMMER GARDEN PARTY & START OF SUMMER TOUR SEASON 10:00AM TO 4:00PM
Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm kicks off the summer season with their Summer Garden Party. Visit the farm homestead and experience life in the 1800s. Learn about the original Pennsylvania German family who settled there in the late 1760s. See farm animals, plus heritage craft & trade skills demonstrated as you tour the buildings with guides portraying members of the Depper family. In addition to the tour, enjoy the Summer Garden Party for free! This is a day devoted to the art of gardening. Tour the kitchen garden, learn about herbs and their uses, explore heirloom vegetables, enjoy food tastings and make a garden-inspired craft. Whether you’re an expert gardener, or would like to learn more, Quiet Valley’s Summer Garden Party is the place to be!
