COMMUNITY CONCERT SERIES: J.T. LAMBERT CAVALIER VOICES
7:00PM TO 8:00PM

JTL Cavalier Voices are scheduled to perform at 7 pm on the Grand Lawn of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Concerts are family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. Donations to the performers are gratefully accepted. Enjoy Shawnee’s gift to the community! Brought to you by the Shawnee Institute Ltd., a non-profit organization.

THURSDAY MAY 30

CANOE/KAYAK TRIP AT THE BOG  10:00AM TO 1:00PM

Join MCCD on a paddling trip into the Bog Preserve on Cranberry Creek. Participants required to provide their own kayak or canoe. Meet at the Bog parking lot at 10am. Directions: Route 611, at the light at the Tannersville Inn turn onto Cherry Lane Rd. Bog parking lot is 1.9 miles from 611 on the right.

POCONO 400

Pocono Raceway hosts the Pocono 400 with a weekend of events leading up to the race. Action starts Saturday with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practices, NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying and Pocono Green 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race; all getting you ready for the big excitement of Sunday’s race.

FRIDAY MAY 31 thru SUNDAY JUNE 2

GREAT PIKE COUNTY BIRDING WEEKEND  Begins at 2:00PM Friday

Explore Pike County with us to try and spot as many species of birds as possible. There are a number of secret birding locations that are fantastic for amateurs or visiting experts. We can guarantee that you’ll see at least 75 different species over the course of the weekend! Includes two nights of lodging and meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch.

BRIDGE THE GAP: POND PADDLE 10:00AM TO 12:00PM

Paddle around the ponds at PEEC free of charge! Beginners welcome – instructors teach you everything you need to know. Call in advance to reserve a boat.

GIRL SCOUT DAY at CLAWS ‘N’ PAWS 10AM TO 6PM
