LRCA RiverFest

Come out to RiverFest and celebrate the Lackawanna River at our annual Rite of Spring for the LRCA!

On Saturday, May 11th, 2019, paddlers will take to the water and revelers will fill the banks of the Lackawanna River. A day of exercise and fun, RiverFest draws the community outdoors after the long winter to celebrate the Valley and the River that runs through it.

RiverFest is a full day of river activities, music, food & drink, educational & environmental displays, arts & crafts vendors, and fun for all ages. Join us in this celebration of the Lackawanna River Watershed!

$55 - Just in time for Mother’s Day bring your little or teen baker and let the magic begin! Spend one-on-one time with your child decorating cupcakes and making your own sweet bouquet. You will be learning how to pipe these beautiful flowers and make your own cupcake-cake to take home.

This class uses cupcakes and cupcake decorating as a catalyst to build stronger families; while creating life-long memories. The 2 ½ hour class is hands-on, interactive and FUN, FUN, FUN! Your child will leave amazed at their ability to decorate beautiful, custom cupcakes. No experience necessary at all!!

All necessary supplies and tools will be provided, including the delicious cupcakes and icing!
